A two-act play, Conversations in a Cafe was first written during the summer of 2006. The world premiere opened October 8, 2010 at historic Cupid's Park Theater (1896), atop Korner's Folly, Kernersville, N.C. All About Faith This play, chiefly finished in June 2008, had a public stage reading of the script held on January 28, 2011 at Theatre Alliance in Winston-Salem. |

This play has four scenes, and runs about 90 minutes with no intermission. Moving towards production: The Good Life A young couple is living a life of good and plenty: a high-rise apartment with the right address, regular escapes from New York City to the most exotic destinations, great meals and top-notch clothing. The only question is: how are they affording it? The final draft of the play has been submitted to several locations for consideration. Reunions Five men and five women meet in the aftermath of their 10-year high school reunion -- and again after their 20th. A "den reading" of this full-length script was held in mid-April, 2011; currently undergoing revisions in preparation for a contest submission. Rehearsals A small community theatre with a limited budget is working on a production of Oscar Wilde's comedy of manners, An Ideal Husband. Things don't go well. This full-length comedy has reached the finished draft stage and will be reviewed with a "den reading" in mid-January, 2012. Patent Another script in progress, Patent will likely be a one-act play. The story is set in 1858 Iowa and deals with two brothers creating and selling a patent medicine. 10-Minute Plays: The Past Comes Back ..., etc. I have written a fair number of 10-minute scripts since 2006, which are in various stages of submission or consideration. Other scripts include The Past Comes Back ..., Livin' on Mountain Time, Celebration and Progress. See my blog Playing with Plays! |
